League
If the tournament belongs to a league, pick it at the top of the form. Without this the result won’t reach the league standings.
Choosing a league fills in the league’s fixed timer setup and blind structure, and the setup shows as a locked summary. A league is a pre-announced competition — once the tournament has been announced, only an administrator can override the structure. See Leagues.
Pick your templates
Start from the club’s timer setup and blind structure. Templates are frozen into the tournament when you create it, so later edits to the library don’t affect this tournament.
To adjust something for this tournament only, edit it on the tournament itself — the club template is left alone.
Buy-in, rebuys and add-on
Set the amounts you play for. These are numbers that get recorded and displayed so everyone sees the same thing — DealMeIn never receives and never moves money. Playing without stakes? Leave them at zero and play on points.
Rebuys and add-ons affect scoring: both the size of the field and how many bullets each player spent. See How points are calculated.
When the windows close. «Late registration through level» sets how long you can add new players after the clock has started (0 = no limit). Rebuys close after «Allowed through level», and the add-on at the break after that. Once a window has closed, DealMeIn asks before you register anyway — the override is fine, and it is logged.
Mystery bounty (Premium)
Switch on Mystery bounty under Extras, and a share of the pot is set aside for bounties instead of prizes. You choose three things:
- Share of pot — percent of the pot after club expenses.
- Number of bounties — how many envelopes. It also sets when it starts: once bounties + 1 players are left.
- Biggest / smallest — how much bigger the biggest envelope is than the smallest.
The envelopes are made when the bounty phase starts, and from then on every elimination draws a random envelope for the player who made it. The phase waits until late registration, rebuys and the add-on have closed, and once it has started no more bullets can be bought. If fewer players are left than planned when the phase starts, the same pot is split across fewer envelopes.
Mystery bounty can’t be used in league tournaments.
Prize split
The split is written comma-separated, for example 50, 30, 20.
A fixed split must add up to 100. If it doesn’t, the form won’t save — deliberately, so a mistake isn’t discovered when the tournament is being settled.
Open for sign-ups
When you open the tournament, members see it in the app and can sign up. In the same dialog you can tick a box to send an email notification to members — see Keeping the club posted.
Share the link outside the app and it lands as a sign-up page in the browser, so people can respond without installing anything first.
