Create your first club

Clubs are created in the Console. A club gathers your players and tournaments in one place.

How to do it

  1. Sign in at club.dealmein.no.
  2. Choose New club.
  3. Give the club a name — for example “Thursday Poker”.
  4. Save. The club is ready.

Two of the choices on that form are worth explaining.

Public or private?

A private club is invisible to everyone else. The only way in is the invite link you share yourself. If you are a regular group playing at each other’s houses, this is usually the right one.

A public club appears under Find clubs in the app, where players can search by name or place. They see the club name, the area and how many members you are — nothing about tournaments, results or who plays.

From that list they can get in two ways:

  • With a PIN — they enter the club’s four-digit PIN and are a member immediately.
  • By applying — they send a request with an optional message, and an admin approves or declines. Nobody gets in without you saying yes.

You can switch at any time. Make the club private again and it disappears from the list, but existing members keep their access.

Location

Location is optional, and exists so players can find you under Find clubs. With one set, they can search for the place name and sort by Nearest me, which shows the distance in kilometres.

Only the area is stored — never an exact address. You pick a town or a district, not where you actually play. That is deliberate: a home game should be able to be findable without publishing somebody’s home address.

Clear the place name and the coordinates go with it, so an old position never lingers without a label.

If the club has no location, everything else works as normal — it simply won’t appear in distance searches.
